A must find little restaurant in Craig Y Don, N. Wales. Lovely kind, helpful staff and superb food. I chose a special of the day, Monkfish, it was outstanding. All served with fresh vegetables of the day, too. We arrived early and sat in cosy little nook in the front bar. Definitely worth putting on the "go to visit list".We booked a table here to eat before visiting Venue Cymru. This place really is a hidden gem tucked away down a side street running parallel to the seafront. The food was delicious. Probably one of the best Italian meals we’ve eaten - certainly in the UK - and the service was excellent. Highly recommended
This is our favourite Italian restaurant in the UK - we visit twice a year and often base our visits around availability of a table! The food is sublime home cooking style almost (and I mean that in a complimentary way) and served in exceedingly generous portions. There’s also an extensive wine list at very reasonable prices. Highlights are the chicken livers to start, any fish special, the fillet steaks and all of the desserts (and I don’t have a particularly sweet tooth). I almost forgot the service - simply the best- friendly and unobtrusive.
Picked this place to go as it was close to where we staying in Llandudno. We had no reservation but when we got there it was full. Owner told us it be bout 20 mins before table was free. Decided to wait as we liked look of place so had a drink in little bar area. We weren't disappointed! This was the best meal we had out for a long time. Went with fish starter (massive prawns) and for mains picked two dishes off the specials that night cod and monk fish. Guys these were so good. Compliments to the chef. Its so nice to find a good authentic Italian. Staff and service were excellent too as was the Limoncello to finish. Would highly recommend a visit here. I rarely give out 5 stars but this place warrants it
