Well what a fantastic valentines meal we had, the restaurant was all decorated for the special day and looked great, the staff were so happy and enthusiastic which made it all that much better, the 4 course meal was the best we've ever had for a valentines meal and all the food was cooked to perfection, we loved it all and will definitely be back and will tell friends all about it. Thank you.
What a lovely little restaurant. After a much needed day out, we topped it off with a meal here. We hadn't made a booking, just popped by on the off chance. Given it was Bank Holiday Saturday, they did manage to accommodate us but explained that we only had an hour and a half. Staff were very polite and attentive. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was very relaxed. I would recommend this place for a romantic meal.
The food is truly second to none. The trout was caught by the owner-chef and was incredibly fresh and deliciously grilled with herbs. The lasagne was full of flavour with tasty beef. The salad is decorated with orange peels, strawberries and grapes and delightfully complemented the main course. The service was the loveliest too with the owner's sister running the front of the house, making every dinner well looked after.
